October Program

Wilma Hitterman will be our featured speaker at our October meeting. Wilma will discuss the history and background of Treadle, Handcrank and Featherweight machines. She will identify different Singer heads and decals and which of our old machines are the most valuable. She doesn’t advocate giving up our modern electric and electronic machines, but want us to remember that the Treadle and Handcranks are the ’grandmothers’ of all present day sewing machines. We will do a lot of reminiscing at this meeting!

We will meet at 1:30, October 13th, in the Oakwood Country Club Ballroom. Guests are always welcome.
